  1. Πολύ καλή η ιδέα του “όλα σε ένα” κι ανεξαρτήτως σαρακοστής -θα επανέρχομαι με κάθε αφορμή που θα θέλω κάτι μη πρωτεϊνούχο!
    Επειδή δεν πήρε το μάτι μου στη στήλη με τα όσπρια τους πεντανόστιμους γίγαντες με σκόρδο (με την ισπανική κοκκινιστή-αμυγδαλωτή σάλτσα, αν θυμάμαι καλά), αν θες πρόσθεσέ τους γιατί σίγουρα θα αρέσουν σε πολλούς -σε εμένα τουλάχιστον άρεσαν πολύ, τους μαγείρεψα με το που τους “ανέβασες” και τους ξαναθυμήθηκα τώρα που είδα και τις υπόλοιπες “γιγαντο-συνταγές” σου!

  3. I really enjoy this site as well as Cook the Books Club. You have some wonderful recipes and beautiful photos. My friends and I here in Santa Barbara, California have read many of your book picks for our book club. We were inspired to do a cooking night after The School of Essential Ingredients.
    My husband and I visited the Peleponnes a few years ago. We are so sad to see what is happening in Greece and all the hardships that people are facing. Your comment about people not heating their homes is not something that makes it into our news coverage.

    • Ahhh, California! I think I could definitely live there: nice weather, fresh produce, beautiful wines. Like Greece without all the fuss… Thank you for your kind words and I am so happy you like my blog and the Cook the Books club. You know, I saw on the news last night that wood cutters can’t keep up with the increasing demand for wood, and there is great concern that people will start chopping down the few forests we have left.
