we were very lucky with the headmaster at the school – he was keen to see traditions kept, but next year he probably won’t be there any more. we will be losing a wonderful caring teacher.

i love avocado in my frech green salads – we have a lot of avocado trees in hania, and always get given them – they are great with lettuce

Wonderful salata and I’m relieved you didn’t use iceberg! lol

A little lemon juice will also retard browning of the avocado.
